We start with the best yard and riding boots money can buy, the Ariat Heritage IV Paddock Boot. It has excellent moisture absorption to keep feet dry, no matter what. It also features the best comfort amenities available to ensure full day wearability.
Then we make it better. We de-stitch and disassemble the whole boot. We strip out the insole and we start from scratch.
Our in-house podiatrist uses our revolutionary and proprietary capture technology to generate a 3D printed model of the riders foot from the customers own photos provided. We place this model in the shoe to re-stitch and re-glue the upper to perfectly match the contour of the riders foot, for an impossibly good fit. Our podiatrist crafts a custom insole for ultimate comfort, matching your specific needs. Full arch support where needed, extra padding for bunions, better fit and movement space around toes. As an aded bonus, our podiatrist will also write up a referral if they see any undiagnosed foot problems.
Our team requires a specific set of photos of the riders feet, accurate measurements and other basic info to be able to generate a 3D model. Although the photos can be taken with a cell phone, it is highly recommended to use the best camera at your disposal and to have another person around for assisting with taking the pictures. Do not forcibly remove any existing calluses. Keep your toe nails the same length as when you plan to wear the boots. Our propriety insoles will help to manage and reduce existing calluses while prohibiting formation of new ones, and will provide maximum comfort.
Currently we only offer this premium customisation service for ladies riding boots. However, we are gender neutral, and anybody may order these customised boots with the knowledge that our base boots are meant for female customers and does not come in extra large sizes.
For best results the rider should lie down on a flat surface such as the floor. The rider bends the legs at the knees, and brings the bare feet up to a 90 degrees bend at the knee. The first set of photos are taken from the left side of the foot. Take 6-8 photos from this angle for both feet.
Rotate the camera to the next position, with the soles of the foot towards the camera. Photos must be taken for both feet together, and individually per foot. For best coverage, try to take 6-8 good quality photos from this angle.
Move the camera around this time to cover the right side of the feet. Again, for best coverage, take 6-8 photos from this angle.
Finally, to complete the 360 degree view, move the camera to the back position of the rider. Another set of 6-8 photos.
The photos of all the indicated positions should only be of the feet, and should take up at minimum 95% of the photo. Use the best camera you can find, as the final quality of the 3D printed model is greatly impacted by the quality of the photos. Cell phone cameras can work, but uncompressed DSLR is best. The total number of photos should be around 20-30.
Additionally, also take photos of measurements of your feet. We need to check the length from the tip of the big toe to your heel. The width across the widest part of your foot, the width at your heel, and the height of your arch. You are free to compile these as you see fit and practical. As long as we can get good, usable measures for both feet. Measures should be given in mm or inches.
If you have an existing medical capture of your feet from an orthopaedic surgeon or from a custom shoe manufacturer, we can accept those files, and you do not need to submit any additional photos. We can also accept orthopaedic laser scanned images and previous data captured from Asics custom sport shoes.
Using modern technology we can re-create the riders foot for improving fitment of riding boots.
